At R&R Pheasant Hunting, many clients come to our 18,000 acre preserve because it affords them some quality time with their dogs. Our hunting dogs are an essential part of the hunting process, and have been for a thousand years. Whereas today hunting is largely a recreational activity, its ancient roots can be traced back to the beginning of time. Dogs are the only animals to voluntarily befriend humans, and this relationship could have started because of cooperation during hunting. Nowhere else does there exist such a symbiotic relationship between man and dog.

On the hunt, dogs provide more than just companionship. They are there to provide the hunter with a sharp set of ears and eyes that he simply does not possess.
